Odia novel by noted historian and writer Manmath Nath Das based on a story at the backdrop of 1947 partition of India. Published by Vidyapuri, Cuttack. Second Edition-1992. Total Pages-148. This novel was first published in 1954.
Manmath Nath Das has writter many books on historical events and based on his year long research. His prominent books are -- The Political Philosophy of Jawaharlal Nehru, India Under Morley & Minto: Politics Behind Revolution, Repression and Reforms, Partition and Independent India: Inside Story of the Mountbatten Days, Glimpses of Kalinga History. Mr Das also wrote many Odia books including few novels like- Juge Juge Utkaliya Dharma O Savyata, Astaraga, Aspasta Akhyana and Samaya Sagara Tire.
Manmath Nath Das, born in Balasore district, was educated at Ravenshaw College and went upto doing his Ph D from London University. A researcher of par excellence started his career as a lecturer in 1948 and went upto becoming the VC of the Utkal University in 1983. Manmath Nath Das is the elder brother of well known writer Manoj Das.
